What dont you know?
*This is a rant. Whatever I say here doesn't neccesarilly mean that it happened. I'm just expressing myself through words. Dont take it seriously since its just a form of my emotional state of mind at the moment. Fuck you. <-- just said that for the fun of it. =D*
What is it with people and their fear of expressing their own opinions? When did the dumbass bug start biting everyone? Why is it that when I ask someone "What do you think?", 3/4 of the time they answer "I dunno."?
Wtf? What dont you know? I just want your opinion dammit! Usually no one gives a shit about what you have to say so when someone ask's for it either answer it the best you can or say "I'm not sure."
Lest compare the difference of the sentences shall we?
"I dunno./I dont know." = A show of lack of intelligence. When I hear it, I cant help but immediately assume that you are a complete and utter moron. I assume that people say this so they can be safe from criticism. Too bad their not aware that they dont neccesarily have to say anything to fall victim to it.
"I'm not sure." = A show of indesiciveness. At least I know that your still thinking and have something to say but is just unsure how to say it.
Either way, a direct answer is still the best course of action when asked for an opinion.
Think about it. Why the hell would I ask for what you think if I didn't feel that you'd have some kind of intelligent answer for it? Thats why it pisses me of so much when someone just blurts out that stupid senctence.
Example:
Shopping for a cd.
I take out a cd and ask my friend for an opinion. He answer's with the idiotic "I dunno.". I restrain myself from choking him to death and put the cd back. He picks another cd and recommends I buy it. I am relieved to know that he has some brains and guts to suggest something. I ask why should I buy that particular cd. Again he answers "I dunno.". God gives me power to stop myself from commiting homocide. I go home and sever all ties with that person.
This may be just a rant but I hope it helped cure you of the "I dunno." bug which is the most moronic plague that hit the human race.
